Particle simulation of lithium-brine eveporation
his video shows the particle simulations of evaporation process of four lithium sites of different countries and the water waste caculatation of the lithium brine of different counties, which could attract users’ attention and let people see the water particles are being evaporated to the air very clearly. Different speed of particles of different countries means different evaporation rates which are also very important for the lithium-brine production. Next to the simulations, I also show the estimated water evaporation of each study area to show the water waste directly.

Calculate the water eveporation
If the said native brine is processed to produce 20,000 tons of Li2CO3 per year, after 10 years of continuous exploitation/production, an astounding figure of 2.3*107 tons of waste will have being produced. If we take an average volumetric density of 2kgL-1 for the salts mixtures (density for carnallite is 1.598 g cm-3, for NaCl is 2.17 g cm-3, and similar values for other salts from the process) (Haynes, 2012), that mass will translate into a volume of 1.15 *107 m3 of waste. If accumulated at ground level, and to a height of 1 m, it will occupy a terrain of 11.5 km2. When you click the country button, you can see the amount of water evaporation of 2019.
