The interactive 3D map shows the details of Olaroz Salt Flat, which is a global lithium-brine extraction site in Argentina. It is convenient for you to interactive with than 2D maps. The map contains the topography, terrain, water lines, main surrounding communities, lithium mining areas, national protection areas, lagoons and other water bodies. NDWI Analysis
For Laguna Clenge and Guachalajte, from 2012 to 2020, the changes of the water content in these two regions show the similar trend, decreasing most of the time except a sharp increase 2016 to 2018. Generally, the value showed a downward trend over time, and the area of the water body decreased rapidly and the downward trend reached its peak in 2016. The difference between the two areas is that the value change of Laguna Guachalajte is more unstable.
