The interactive 3D map shows the details of Qaidam plateau, which is a global lithium-brine extraction site in China. It is convenient for you to interactive with than 2D maps. The map contains the topography, terrain, water lines, main surrounding communities, lithium mining areas, national protection areas, lagoons and other water bodies. What is more useful is that the users can zoom in and rotate the 3D model to get the information they want by clicking anything in the model, then you can get the information such as the area, coordinates, names, length or the environmental analysis of our case study.

NDWI Analysis
Most of the time, it can be seen from the figure that the water content of Laguna Yikede and Laguna Beihuolunxun both show an overall downward trend, and this trend is quite obvious.Compared with Laguna Yikede, laguna Beihuolunxun has a more pronounced rate of decline and fluctuation.The NDWI of both Laguna has turned negative from positive in 1985; the Yikede has slowly risen in the past five years, but beihuolunxun has continued to fall. For Laguna Beihuoluxun, at 2020, the value decreased close to -0.1, which near the thresholds -0.2 I decided before for separating water and non-water, which means it was going to run dry.

For Qaidam plateau of China, the result shows the expansion of lithium operations has strong negative correlations with NDWI. With the expansions increase, the water contents of the study areas strongly decrease. The value R² of the Laguna Beihuolunxun is 0.8128 and the correlation line is shown as the blue line at the below position of figure. The value R² of the Laguna Yikede is 0.9177 and the correlation line is shown as the orange line in the below image of figure 23. Moreover, the slope of Laguna Beihuolunxun is more obvious than that of Laguna Yikede, which proves the relationship that the closer area is more affected by the lithium mining.
